With musical suitable for all ages, carrying a timeless message, Marqus Anthony is leaving a legacy for generations to come. Marqus is seizing the moment and seeking to bring evermore glory to the name of Jesus Christ.

Due to the beliefs of his family and the teachings of public schools, Marqus was raised to believe that there was no God. He grew up as a scholar who excelled at school from a young age, having college level reading skills in the third grade. Eventually, he would earn a full academic scholarship to the University of Michigan after being a valedictorian at his high school. In 2013, Marqus graduated with high distinction from U of M earning his bachelor’s degree in science. That same summer, Marqus Anthony gave his life to Christ, and he would never be the same.

Marqus desires to use his testimony to let people know that atheists are still coming to Christ; he is a living witness and example! Marqus Anthony’s original church home is Rhema International Church under Bishop Eric Lloyd in Detroit, MI. Having Bishop Lloyd as a positive male role model changed Marqus Anthony’s life. He wouldn’t be the man he is today without the influence of this powerful man of God. Remarkably, Marqus grew to teach Sunday School weekly to a group of teenagers. He also served on the youth board and was President of the Men’s Department at the church. Who would have known that some one who once denounced God’s very existence would be such a dedicated servant of the Lord?

Jesus completely changed Marqus Anthony’s life! Although he excelled in school, Marqus was a troubled young man. He was always in the streets and heavily involved in drugs, partying and alcohol. He would study to be a doctor by day and be a drug dealing alcoholic by night. He was always chasing new sexual encounters and often had a bad attitude. Since becoming a Christian, Marqus has renewed his mind, repented and changed his ways. He now lives in Atlanta, GA and continues to tell the world about the life changing power in the gospel of Jesus Christ! He is currently serving at Crossover Church ATL, a City Takers church plant.
